"2007 Concert at the Park" goes to Piazza

The Philippine Consulate General invites everyone to this year’s Concert in the Park on 09 December 2007, from 12 noon to 6:00 pm at the Piazza, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.  The free concert is co-organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong and the Philippine Consulate General in cooperation with the Hong Kong Musicians Union.

The Concert in the Park is a manifestation of the HK government’s high regard for the artistry of Filipino musicians in Hong Kong. The program will showcase a variety of musical genres, from jazz to rock and roll, from pop rock to standard to Latin music, as well as original Pilipino music, through the musical stylings of the following bands:  Colin Aitchison and the China Coast Jazzmen, Age of Play, Ice Box, Tony Carpio’s Big Band, Brown Sugar Band with Paul Sapiera and Bert Amparado HKMU Latin Band. 

The 2007 Concert in the Park is sponsored by the following: Barkadahan  sa Smartone, Philippine Products Store, Jollibee Hong Kong, A-Freight (Asia Pacific) Ltd., and Mr. and Mrs. Rubin Benny Dollano.  

Good Evening Kabayan hosts  Stan Yumang, E.J. Emata and Ricky Sadiosa will be emceeing the concert.
