New Procedure for direct hire/name hire of Philippine domestic helper

NEW PROCEDURE for NAME/DIRECT HIRE

 

as of January 15, 2008

 

 

EMPLOYER will submit LETTER OF REQUEST to Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) together with the PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS listed in the forms available at Counter 16

The request will be forwarded by POLO to Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)

Qualified employer will be endorsed by POEA to the secretary of the Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE)

After the APPROVAL NOTIFICATION from DOLE, the POLO will do the CONTRACT VERIFICATION with the following documents to be submitted by the EMPLOYER:

1.      New Employer’s Undertaking (obtained from Counter 16)

2.      Certificate of worker coverage under a performance bond that is

equivalent to the SALARY RATE x 3 MONTHS

3.      Certificate of repatriation bond ( USD 5000)

4.      Certificate of medical insurance 

5.      Photocopy of one-way (Philippines to Hong Kong) airline ticket or original Ticket Exchange Voucher (TEV) with open date.

Verified contracts from POLO will be given to the EMPLOYER. Bring the verified contracts to Immigration for the EMPLOYMENT VISA PROCESSING.

Employer will then send all pertinent documents to the helper in the Philippines

The helper will send the documents to POEA for processing and issuance of exit clearance
