Housing Fair in Hong Kong

The Philippine Consulate General invites the Filipino community to participate in the Housing Fair which will be held at the Hong Kong Bayanihan Trust Playground on 20-22 September 2002 (Friday - Sunday) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The fair, organized by the Philippine Consulate in cooperation with the Pag-IBIG Overseas Office in Hong Kong, hopes to encourage more OFW's to join the Pag-IBIG Overseas Program, promote home ownership among overseas Filipinos through the POP, encourage developers to join the POP Home Matching Program, and promote investments in the Philippines through the acquisition/purchase of a housing unit.

The fair will also feature some raffle prizes and entertainment.

As of June 30, 2002, there are 7,540 active Pag-IBIG Overseas Program (POP) members in Hong Kong. There are 286 housing loan borrowers in Hong Kong who have accumulated a total loan value amounting to Php 73, 959,464.00.
