SuperPinay Laban Sa Kanser A cancer awareness seminar dubbed "Superpinay Laban Sa Kanser" will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwai Road, Wan Chai, on 04 August 2002, Sunday, from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. Dr. Anne Lee of the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society will be the Guest Speaker. Produced specially for the benefit of the Overseas Filipino Workers in Hong Kong, the seminar will feature some entertainment numbers and a variety show with Ms. Maritoni Fernandez, a veteran Filipino actress and a cancer survivor herself. The first in a series of health-related seminars for the OFWs in Hong Kong, the project is organized by the American International Assurance (AIA) in cooperation with the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society and the Philippine Consulate General. The Consulate General is inviting the members of the Filipino community to support the project which would inculcate awareness on the prevention of cancer. Admission is free.
