Official Visit of H.E. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo

Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will visit Hong Kong on 28-29 October 2001 as an official guest of the Special Administrative Region (SAR). 

While in Hong Kong, President Arroyo will meet with the Filipino community at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Center (HITEC) on 28 October 2001. On October 29, she will address the World Economic Forum (WEF) as keynote speaker and hold bilateral talks with HK SAR Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa to discuss matters of mutual concern. The President is also scheduled to meet with prominent Hong Kong businessmen during her brief stay.
