(Bowling Tournament)

The Philippine Consulate General would like to invite the Filipino Community to participate in the Palaro ng Konsulado sa
HK -2005- bowling tournament on 17 April 2005 at the Mei Foo Super Fun Bowl, Kowloon.
The tournament is open to
all Filipinos and other Nationals with proven ties to a Filipino (i.e.
husband, wife, sons & daughters of a Filipino).
The tournament will be
staged in 3 successive games in a day (Ranking Round; Team Competition;
and Individual Competition) as follows.
Venue : Mei Foo Super Fun Bowl
Mei Foo, Kowloon
Time : 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Registration Fee : $150/person (for lane fees
only)

1st
STAGE – RANKING ROUND
All Players will play for
one game and the scores will be recorded.
2nd STAGE
– TEAM COMPETITION
From the result of the
ranking, players will be ranked from 1 to the last player and this will be
distributed evenly to produce a balance team of 4 – 5 players. For
example, our total participants is 40, team no. 1 will be composed of
player rank no. 1, 20, 31 & 40 and team 2 will compose of player rank no.
2, 19, 32 & 39 (this ranking will be irrespective of gender). Players will
not be able to choose their team members since the rankings will be
generated from 1st stage. This will give the players the
opportunity to know more people and learn how to play a team game with
strangers.
The team will compete for
one game.
3rd STAGE
– INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
The individual scores in
the above stages will be tabled and individual players will be categorized
into 3 Levels (Expert, Semi-Expert & Novice). We will apply the same
categories to the lady participants depending on their number.
As we wish to limit the
participants to 100 pax maximum, participation will be on a first come,
first served basis. COME, JOIN US & HAVE FUN !
