Consulate Conducts Fifth Consular Mission to Macau for 2006

The Philippine Consulate General conducted its fifth Consular Mission to Macau SAR for 2006 on 24-25 March. The team was headed by Vice Consul Noel M. Novicio, together with five PCG personnel, one OWWA representative, two SSS-Hong Kong representatives, one Pag-Ibig Overseas-HK official, and one PCI-Equitable Bank employee. The Philippine Labor Extension Office (PLEO)-Macau, headed by Labor Attache Carlos Sta. Ana, provided administrative support to the team.

The Consular Mission to Macau SAR is an outreach program of the Consulate General and attached agencies designed to provide consular assistance and services to the Filipino community and to give information about the various programs and services offered by the Consulate General and attached agencies.

Members of the Filcom thanked the Consular team for extending the Consulate General’s services to the growing Filipino community in Macau. One Filcom member, who received her new passport within an hour, praised the Consular team for “the fastest passport issuance in the world.”
