Cultural mapping is gaining recognition as a vital tool in identifying the world's tangible and intangible cultural assets. Cultural mapping can help us understand a country's art, history, tradition and cultures. Artists play an important role in identifying and articulating aspects of contemporary culture. The artist's eye capture not just the superficial and self-evident, but those things which have aesthetic resonance. Each artist responds to and represents his ideas or feelings about a place in a uniquely different way.
